Founder & Chief Executive
Molly Dubson is a 16-year-old student at Staples High School in Westport, Conn. Inspired by her family’s love for running, she joined her high school’s track team freshman year and cross country team sophomore year. After a trip to Cuba in 2023, Molly decided to harness the power of her running community in Connecticut to alleviate a common problem she saw while in Cuba: the lack of footwear. Cuba is home to countless ambitious runners who unfortunately lack not just good running shoes, but shoes at all. Molly’s creation of Sole Ties attempts to connect fortunate members of her community to less fortunate Cuban children in an attempt to foster a greater love for running through footwear.
